Rabies GR 1 OPEN DAY On Friday 6 Sept we held our Gr 1 Open Day. Thank you to everyone that made the day possible. Daar is aktiwiteite in die klasse gedoen met die opgewonde kleintjies. We look forward to welcoming the grade 1’s next year! Top 20 Chess at Bergvlam: 27 of our learners took part to qualify for top 10, but I am proud to announce that Alexander Maartens came 1st with the best score of the day: 6 out of 6 wins, Andre de Kock 5/6 2nd and ThapeloMashile 3rd place in the u/14 category. We are so proud of you!! We had our De Goede Top 10 and 21 of our learners were invited. u/10: LebogangMashile came 13, u/12 VuyoMokwena came 7th, u/14: Alexander Maartens came 2nd 4/5, Braham v d Walt 4/5 4th and ThapeloMashile 4/5 5th place. CHESS WetenskapEkspo: Jean-mari Loots en Calista v d Heever het aan die substreekekspodeelgeneem op 17 Aug. Hulle het gouemedaljesontvang. Dankievirjullehardewerk. Hulle is genooina die International Science Fair teBoksburg in die vakansie. Skaak: Op 21 Aug was die Mpumalanga SkaakFinaal by L/S Sabie. Byna 200 kinders het deelgeneem. Uitslae: 0/11: Sabie 5de, 0/13: Sabie 1ste, Girls: Sabie 4de. Thank you to all the teams and sponsors and parents. Special thanks to Woodsman for the delicious lunch.

Ons is baie trots op 7 van onsatletewatdeurgedring het na die distriktebyeenkoms. LutendoModau, Danielle Gouws, AnikaTheart, TshepangMashigo, Chantelle Willis, Casey Tapfira, Fortunate Maseko, Estian Schroeder. Hokkie: Ons feesdag by Uplands was werklik ‘n fees gewees! Ons meisies het baie goed gespeel. Baie dankie vir elkeen van julle wat daar was. Ongelukkig is die hokkieseisoen nou verby. Thank you for your participation. It was really a good season. Dankie vir elke juffrou wat die seisoen die moeite werd gemaak het. Flinkdink: Daar is ‘n paargr 7 leerderswatgenoegweetom die gaste van hoërskoolsybrand van niekerk se flinkdinkaandtewees. Leerlinge wat prestige behaal het ,is: Braham v d Walt : Afr gedramatiseerde poësie Ané Davey: Afr gedramatiseerde prosa Leandi Viljoen: Afr ongedramatiseerde poësie en Afr gedramatiseerde prosa Engela v d Walt: Afr gedramatiseerde poësie en Afr ongedramatiseerde poësie en Eng dramatised poetry Taegan Rossouw: Eng dramatised poetry Baie dankie aan Juf Karla Grobbelaar wat ons so mooi gehelp het. Cricket: Sabie/Clivia 17/09: Proud of the u/11 boys. Man of the match: Alexander. Kees-Piet Barnhoorn het dit toe gedoen! In die landwye ATKV finaalteHartenbos, het Kees-Piet teen die 20 anderfinalistesystaalgewys en 3de gekom. Dit is ‘n reuse prestasie en ons is baie trots op hom!!
