  2. Global Pathways Initiative • Ensuring an international dimension to every graduating baccalaureate student • Up to $100,000 awarded to college committed to developing global learning outcomes • Awarded to CEBS and Potter College • Committee Representative for STE: Gandy

  3. Collaborative international activities fund • Supports interdisciplinary, innovative projects involving collaboration between two or more WKU departments, offices, colleges, or other units • $3000 • Requires matching funds • 10 awards yearly • Application Deadlines: Oct 15, Feb 15

  4. Faculty Exchange support fund • Defrays costs of expenses of outbound WKU faculty to partner universities • $2,500 • Matching funds required • 4 awards yearly • First priority: WKU outbound faculty • Second priority: inbound faculty from partner universities • Application Deadlines: Oct 15, Feb 15

  5. International research and conference travel fund • Support for faculty and staff who are conducting short-term research in foreign countries or presenting scholarly papers at international conferences outside U.S. • $1000 • Matching funds required • 10 awards yearly • Priority to applicants with limited international experience and no previous OIP travel support • Application Deadlines: Oct 15, Feb 15

  6. Study abroad course development funds • Support for preparatory site visit to location of proposed study abroad program • $1000 • Matching funds required • 8 awards yearly • Application Deadlines: Oct 15, Feb 15

  7. Global encounters co-sponsorship fund • Category 1: supports programming for global encounter events • $500 • Category 2: supports major events (lectures, films, artistic performances) of significant international stature and impact • $2500 • Matching funds required • Ten Category 1; Two Category 2 awards • Deadline: none
