Shaul’s message:The festivals are all prophetic shadow pictures of things yet to come.[The apostles still kept the feasts]

Spring Feasts:Passover: The bride is freed from bondage.Pentecost: Torah given as a bridal contract
Fall Feasts:Yom Teruah: The Bridegroom comes for his bride.Yom Kippur: The wedding. The bride turns away from the world, to focus on her Husband.
Fall Feasts:Sukkot: The bride and Groom go to the Groom’s father’s house.Shemini Atzeret: Tarry service, held over(Not Simchat Torah)
Shemini Atzeret is a separate festival.The sukka and lulav are not used.(Why?)

Exodus and Deuteronomy, date of the festival is given with regards to the agricultural season and the harvests. (The tithe is mentioned in Exodus and Deuteronomy, because the tithe was historically timed to the animal and vegetable harvests.)
Leviticus gives thedates of the festivals with regards to the calendar dates.(e.g., “on the fourteenth day of the month….”)
