WHAT WAS HAPPENING • The September 11 attacks-Four  terrorist attacks launched by the Islamist terrorist group al-Qaeda upon the United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C. areas on September 11, 2001. • The Northeast blackout of 2003 was a widespread power outage that occurred throughout parts of the Northeastern and Midwestern United States and the Canadian province of Ontario on Thursday, August 14, 2003. • Facebook – a social networking service was launched in February 2004. • Twitter an online social networking was created March 2006. • Barack Hussein Obama was the first African American elected President of the United States of America on November 4th 2008.

  10. ALANO I couldn’t find my name on the site given because my parents gave me a very ‘’creative’’ name. I asked my dad ‘’Hey, why did you give me the name Alano?’’.He told me he did because it sort of sounded and spells closely like his name Allen.
