  2. Introduction • Ringo Starr was born on July 7 1940 in Liverpool U.K • He was married to Marreen Cox on February 11 1965. • Ringo has three children Zak, Jason, and a daughter named Lee. • Ringo Starr is still living today. • His son Zak is a drummer too and he plays for The Who.

  3. Social Contribution Ringo Starr made a huge impact on the music world. He did because be was the drummer for one of the best rock groups of all time the Beatles. The Beatles were a British rock band from Liverpool U.K. They came to America and in stilly became a hit here. They last nine years in America in till they broke up. After that Ringo started an acting career and a solo one. He was still a hit even on his own.

Childhood • Ringo Starr was a only child to Richard Starkey SR and Elsie Gleive, they both worked at a bakery. • When Ringo was seven his mother remarried to Harry Greare who was a painter. • Ringo suffered from a lot of illness as a child. At age six he was hostile for a year because of a coma from peritonitis. • At age 13 he suffered pleurisy that was so sever that he was in a sanitaum for two years. • As early as nine years old he started to suffer black outs from an alcohol addiction.

  5. Adolescence Years • When Ringo was just 15 he was hopelessly be hide in his school work he dropped out of school. • He took a job as a messenger for the British Railways. But that did not last long. He lost his job when his employer received the results of his physical examination. • Ringo acquired a new drum kit and learned how to play. He than found work as a professional drummer.

  6. Adolescence Years (Continued) • He than joined Ed Clavton’s skiffle group for a time than the Rory Storms and then the Hurricanes. • In Hamburg Germany Ringo was playing with the Hurricanes was when the Beatles offered him the job for their drummer.

  7. Adulthood • Ringo joined the Beatles in 1962 when he was only 22. • When the Beatles broke up in 1971 Ringo was 31 and started a acting and solo career. • He was in movies like Candy, That’ll be the day, stardust, and Caveman. • Some of his greats songs that he recorded were Photograph and You’re sixteen.

  8. Adulthood (Continued) • In 1975 Ringo started his own recording label called Ring O’s Records. • In 1980 he started the All-Starr band. • The band had consisted of Billy Presten, Dr. John, Peter Framptr, Ringo him self and different musical celebrities from time to time.

The Beatles • The Beatles were a rock group from Liverpool U.K. • They came to America in 1961. • The band members were John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney. • Pete Best was the original drummer until they offered the job to Ringo. • In 1971 the Beatles broke up and that was the end of them.

  10. Queen Slide • Queen Elizabeth Bowes lyan was born on August 4 1900 and was the Queen of England when Ringo Starr was born. • She died on March 30 2002. she was 102 years old. • Her daughter, Elizabeth the II be came the queen after that. • She is still living today.
