Day 4 – Skaftafell National Park, Svartifoss, Svinafellsjokull and the Jokulsarlon Ice Lagoon. Travelling across the outwash plains. Water, water everywhere and so delicious to drink!. We walked up to see Svartifoss – a beautiful waterfall cascading over black basaltic columns. .

  2. Travelling across the outwash plains

  3. Water, water everywhere and so delicious to drink!

  4. We walked up to see Svartifoss – a beautiful waterfall cascading over black basaltic columns.

  5. Walking along the side of Svinfellsjokull glacier.

  6. Jokulsarlon Ice Lagoon – fresh water and sea water lagoon. The colours are breathtaking.

  7. A bit too cold for a swim today! The seals didn’t seem to mind it though.

  8. Off to the land of nod!
