  6. Primary Assessment • Weak, thready carotid pulse • Pale ++, dry skin ++ • Eyes open to voice • Confused • Obeys commands

  7. Focused History • Playing “hide & seek” • Found SOB ++ • MDI medications = no relief • Asthmatic history
