  3. What's speed skating • Speed skating is a compotation In the winter Olympics. This sport is on the ice rink and is one of the fastest sports on ice.

Who • Apolo Anton ohno is one of many people who participate in the speed skating. • He is a 5 time gold medalist and they are in two Olympic games. • He also has 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. • He lives in salt lake city, Utah • Another speed skater is Chad Hedrick he has a 3 time world champion and has 3 gold medals plus 2 silver medals.   6. Where • This year at the Vancouver Olympics the place were they will be competing at is Vancouver's pacific coliseum.

  7. Why • Why people speed skate is because they fall in love with the sport witch causes them to keep competing and they soon become in the Olympics. • Plus they always want to come to glory and win the gold medal.

  8. How • The way they play is they start on roller blades then go faster and faster. Once they become very good at it they move to ice skates and go really fast. • Plus they do ballerina lessons to get there balance.
