  7. A Typical Day 7:30-8:45 Start your day with breakfast in your hotel 9:00-12:00 Enjoy a morning activity such as city sightseeing 12:00-1:00 Lunch. Your group may choose to take a tour manager’s suggestion for the best crepes/pizza in town or browse a local market and picnic in the park 1:00-3:00 Use an ACIS Walking Tour to explore a museum or sight 3:00-5:00 Free time to shop for souvenirs, swim or relax in a town square 5:00-6:00 Back at hotel for debriefing/briefing and to freshen up 6:30-7:30 Time for dinner 7:30-11:00 An evening activity such as a boat ride, a show or a concert will keep you entertained – or enjoy activities as organized by your group leader.

  8. Trip Itinerary Day 1 | Overnight Flight Bon Voyage!Your ACIS Tour Manager will meet you at the airport and welcome you abroad.

  9. Trip Itinerary Days 2-4 | Paris Welcome to the City of Light! Be sure to take plenty of pictures as you visit Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles. Don’t forget to try a chocolate croissant… or two!

  10. Trip Itinerary Day 5 | Provence Experience the beautiful French countryside! Travel south to Provence on the high-speed TGV train- try to get a window seat to enjoy the passing scenery.

  11. Trip Itinerary Days 6-8 | Cote d’Azur Explore the sights of the Riviera! Get ready to see sights in the Old Town, Eze, and glamorous Monaco- home to the rich and famous!

  12. Trip Itinerary Day 8-9 | Florence The Cradle of the Renaissance! Discover the city’s treasures on a sightseeing tour with a local guide before exploring in groups.

  13. Trip Itinerary Day 10-11 | Rome Experience the wonders of the Eternal City with a panoramic drive of the city. The Colosseum, Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pantheon and the Forum are just some of the incredible sights that await you!

The Rules • This is not school sponsored, this is a Layson trip. • Punctuality is key to making this trip work! • Alcohol, weapons, drugs, sexual misconduct will result in ACIS dismissing you from the group and a return trip home at the parents’/guardians’ expense! • Guidelines for restaurants, hotels, trains, busses, culture, language, free time, etc… will be discussed later

Cost Program Fee $4,059 (Valid until April 1, 2010) Registration Fee $ 95 Projected Departure Fees $ 406 (Projected from the airlines) Total $4,560 Tipping: (Collecting before departure) Tour manager $5 per day times 11 Bus driver $3 per day times 8 Total $ 79 per student Optional/Additional fees: PASSPORTS!!! Ultimate Protection Plan $ 300 Comprehensive Protection Plan $ 240

  17. Protection Plans Your ACIS Registration Fee includes Basic Protection coverage. For your peace of mind, we offer a range of enhanced protection plans from which you may choose. ACIS recommends that participants purchase the Ultimate Protection Plan designed specifically for your travel needs.

Next Steps We need at least 25 students and can provide passage up to 44 • By Tuesday, March 30thstudents that wish to commit to the trip must have the following items turned into Mr. Layson: • A completed ACIS 2011 Registration Form II.   19. Next Steps 2. In the case that over 44 students wish to attend, the procedure for selection is as follows: • All applicants will be assigned a number*** • A lottery will be performed on Wednesday, March 31st with me, Mr. Lietz, the president of the Student Senate and the president of the Student Advisor Board present. • A list will be posted of the students selected by COB on Wednesday, March 31st . At this time all registration forms and checks will mailed to ACIS in order to reserve the trip. • Upon receipt, ACIS will send a confirmation/welcome notification that will include a website where you can select payment and insurance options. • Registration forms and checks of students not selected will be returned to those students on Thursday, April 1st.
