Chapter One: A Talented Baby • Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana in a small house with his mom, dad and seven other siblings. Michael was only six when his brothers let him sing in their band with them in 1964.
From Michael’s good singing and dancing and his brothers good playing, in 1966 they won their fristcitywide concert in Gary. In 1969 the Jackson 5’s first album was released.
Chapter Two: Going Solo In 1972 Michael began his solo recording career with the release of Got to Be There. Did you know that in 1978 Michael Jackson played the scarecrow in The Wiz starring Diana Ross?
By 1979 he released Off the Wall, his first collaboration with producer Quincy Jones. In 1982 he released what would be the best selling album of all, Thriller. Seven of his albums and nine of his songs became number one hits. In 1984 during a filming of a Pepsi commercial, Michaels hair caught on fire.
In 1987 his album Bad produced five hit singles. In 1988 he released his autobiography, Moonwalker. He also bought the NeverlandRanch. In 1993 Michael was accused of molesting a boy who used to visit his home. The case was settled out of court, and criminal charges were not made.
During 1994 Michael married the daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Maria Presley. The marriage lasted for two years. Michael married his second wife Debbie Rowe in 1996.
Chapter Three: The kids • A year later Debbie gave birth to their first child Prince Michael Jackson Jr. When Prince was one, his first sister was born and her name was Paris Michael Kathrine Jackson.
The couple got divorced a year after Paris Michael Kathrine Jackson was born in 1999.
Michael Jackson’s third child, Prince Michael Jackson II nicknamed Blanket, was born to an unidentified surrogate mother.
Chapter 4 • NeverlandRanch is raided and searched by officers after a parent of a thirteen year old child pressed child molesting charges in the year of 2003.
After a difficult court battle, Michael was found innocent. Michael closed Neverland Ranch and left the country with his children.
Chapter 5 • He announced that he will launch a concert tour, This Is It in July. But on June 25th he died of a heart failure.
Michael’s body was laid to rest in a mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California on September 3.
