Project description • Electronic system forcontrol and help in clinical paths in themedical institutions, which brings together two different aspects: business process management and the management of clinical paths. • Easy adaptablesystem to any clinical path, allowing adjustment of clinical path in accordance with generally accepted BPMN2 notation for describing business processes. • Robustweb technology provides reliability and possibility of access to the system anywhere and anytime. • Unique system in the world isbased on best practice management of treatment with biological agents in the field of rheumatology:BioRx. • The data collected allows effective control bothover the treatment process, such as the consumption of drugs.

Project results • Clinical studies of a treatment with biological agents in different areas of medicine. • Safe and secure service prototype system that enables the configuration of the system for managing business processes in a way that is needed to successfully manage clinical paths and combines: • process management • document management • decisions engine • other subsystems (users, access, ...) • interactive userinterface • The decision algorithms designed to assist in the management of clinical paths, which unify the standards for the procurement of remedies and thereby improving the quality of treatment, reduce the number of medical errors, financial expenditures and disburdening of the medical staff.
