Pick a topic with two clear sides:Should uniforms be required at Mt. Mourne IB School? • Do some research about the issue. • Take a stand. • Write a well thought out five paragraph essay. Give Credit to the Research! • We will learn how to cite from books, articles, websites, and more. • For this writing project, use the ACE Strategy: According to the author (name the author) in the article/website (name the article or website)… • Include a bibliography at the end of your paper.
Bibliography Review • During the next class Mrs. Lowell will review how to write a bibliography for your paper. • While in the library, you will also research a topic and write a five paragraph essay supporting a stance that you take on a topic. • Use your time wisely so you do not have homework!
