Library Student Student Learning Outcome • Be able to get on Delta College Library’s website and log on to the subscription online Databases on and off the campus • Be able to find controversial issues from the Browse Issues list in Opposing Viewpoints in Context and locate topic overviews, featured viewpoint articles, statistical resources, primary sources, articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers, and audiovisual materials from the database • Be able to conduct a Boolean logic keyword search in Opposing Viewpoints in Context to locate information on a specific topic or a topic that overlaps different controversial issues • Be able to evaluate and cite the retrieved sources in MLA or APA style
