  2. ↪WE↩ are responsible for our actions 😩🙎😨🙈😭😱🙍 • Even the smallest human actions can intiate enviromental changes to the earth • Human behavior changes the enviroment in dramatic ways • Misguided consruction and irrigation to the natural landscape can disrupt important ecological processes • Unsustainable agriculture is threatening the natural systems we depend on for food, water and shelter • With no limits and selfishness, humans have become the biggest threat to mother nature • Source : www.foe.co.uk

  3. How are we doing this❔❔❔ Source : www.greenpassport.us • Dam follies- can cause natural disasters www.greenpssport.us • Overfishing- Mankind's appetite for seafood has emptied our oceans. More than half of the world's fisheries are already gone 🐠 🐟 • Invasive Species- this can throw off the natural balance out of order. For example, the Dodo bird. • Coal mining- Causes climate changes and endangers local ecosystems • Human accidents-Like the 1989 Valdez which released 11 million gallons of crude oil into the ocean killing 250,000 sea birds, 2,800 sea otters, 300 harbor seals, 250 bald eagles 22 killer whales and billions of salmon • Cars- A single car emits 12,000 lbs of carbon dioxide which will take 240 trees to offset the amount and also pollutes the air we breathe

How are we doing this ❔❔❔ • Unsustainable accidents- Current farmings are responsible for 70% of pollution in our nation's rivers and streams • Deforestations- Today the world's forests are disappearing before our eyes, 32 million acres are lost each year❕ • Global warming- The earth's temperature has increased by 1.4 degrees farenhiet in the last 130 years. This will soon lead to natural disasters❕ • And... • OVERPOPULATION ❕❕❕ - If we don't reduce human population, nature will by violence, epidemics, and starvation. By 2050 there will be 450 million humans killing the earth❕ • More people means more problems • Source : www.thehindu.com

How can we clean up our act❓❔❓ • Well we can... • Plant a notion " Go Green" • Recycle glass, old phones, alluminum, hangers, and newspapers ♻♻♻♻♻ • Wash your clothes in cold or warm water • Hang dry your clothes • Go vegetarian for a week.
