EDITING OLD VIDEO FOOTAGE Bryant browning, danielnoyes, lee pang, ashley rain, norbertschlottman
Project summary • The Editing Old Video Footage Group was about: • Editing videos and footage filmed in previous semesters • Working as a team to create new videos from this footage that are appropriate to represent the Florida State University College of Communication and Information on YouTube • Sifting through old footage to determine what was usable
deliverables • In our first presentation we said that we would: • Inventory available and usable footage • Create 3-4 quality videos that can be showcased on the go.fsu.cciyoutube page • Highlight leadership skills in one of the videos
timeline Timeline: Inventory footage by October 13, finish 3 videos by December 2nd
Leadership/teamwork • Division of work: • Bryant – Sorted through video footage, recreated a prezi and built upon the fundamentals of a previous video • Ashley – Sorted through student interview footage, editing and creating three videos • Lee – Took the initiative to create a video compiling footage from various sources • Daniel – Met with Bryant to discuss semester goals, give input on previous video footage, and share ideas • Norbert – Dealt with team relations and scheduling group meetings
equity • Organized and found usable footage for videos • Created 5 videos • 3 Student Interview Videos • Internet • Hardware • What is ICT? • Why IT? • Why CCI? • Got video feedback from Ebe
Long term planning • Assigning individuals a video to work on each rather than trying to have multiple team members work on the same video • Communicating more within teams in the class to try to get videos done and distributed that could benefit their projects • Taking more time to assess the team’s skills before committing to the project
