All Graduate Students Preparing to File Candidacy Form • Candidacy form must be typed (It can be done online at): http://slisweb.sjsu.edu/admin/forms/candidacy.pdf • List only 10 graduate/elective courses with grades and semesters taken. • Select one of three: thesis, project or culminating experience. Culminating experience could be comprehensive oral examination or a written test selected by your advisor. • Competency in Written English can be satisfied either by taking an appropriate graduate class in CEE Department or by taking WST and E200W. • Attach a copy of your letter of admission into M.S. program in Civil Engineering with the candidacy form. • Attach also a copy of transcripts, showing all courses taken while a graduate students Dr. Ndon Graduate Coordinator
