  1. Cloud Computing & Their Key Characteristics

  2. Cloud computing is assisting businesses and individuals in weathering the ongoing storm caused by the global pandemic. Companies are recognising the Cloud as a critical enabler in completing their digital transformation, and the COVID pandemic has accelerated this mandate. • The cloud is a computing model in which servers, networks, storage, development tools, and even applications (apps) are accessible via the internet. Instead of organisations having to make large investments to buy equipment, train staff, and provide ongoing maintenance, a cloud computing in USAcan handle some or all of these needs.

  3. According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), there are key characteristics of a cloud computing environment: • Access to the Internet • In a public cloud environment, users "plug into" the data and applications via an internet connection, allowing them to access them from any location at any time. • Measurable Service • Cloud computing is frequently pay-as-you-go, meaning you only pay for what you use. Consider how a utility company measures the amount of water, electricity, or gas used and charges based on consumption. The cloud is identical. • On-Demand Self-Service • Services can be requested and provisioned quickly, with no manual setup or configuration required. • Shared Resource Pooling • The multi-tenancy model is frequently used in Shared Resource Pooling Cloud. This means that a single application is shared by multiple users. As a result, rather than creating a duplicate of the application for each user, several users, or "tenants," can configure the application to their specific needs.
