Description.. • Front office is like the control center of a hotel and it has a very important role. • It has many different positions in the office; Front office personnel, receptionist, and clerks. • The is one of the first line of people customers will come in contact when entering the establishment. • They are responsible for the first impression given to the customers. • Their services include making reservations, checking-in, keeping records and accounting.
Responsiblities.. • The front desk personnel are responsible to answer phone calls, make reservations or cancel them. • They are responsible to have information of if they have rooms vacant on drop in customers. • They are responsible to know information around the area/city they are located in to give to the customers when asked. • They must have a good approachable personalities.
Qualification and Salary • High school Diploma or equivalent. • Good interpersonal skills. • They can up to $30,500 per year and with benefits.
