Grammar • The past indefinite tense: • 1). An action completed at a definite time in the past • 2).an action that lasted for some time in the past and was completed and sometimes can be the same as the present perfect tense 3). A past habit
The past continuous tense • 1). An action that was going on at a certain time in the past • 2). An action that was going on at a time when something else happened
