  6. Hours? Students: After morning announcements until 2:30 pm. Teachers: Anytime at all.

  7. What do I bring? • Bring your stick that your teacher will give you. • And your library card!

  8. What if I losemy library card? Two free Then $1.00

  9. Talking? Yes. Quietly.

  10. Food? No.

  11. Other rules? • Don’t go behind the circulation desk. This is a work area for adults.

  12. Kindergarten – 1 book for 1 week. How many books may I check out?

  13. 1st – 5th Grade 2 books for 2 weeks.

  14. Where do I put my book when I’m done with it?

  15. NOT on a shelf…we’ll never find it again!

  16. What if I have an overdue book? In accordance with GA state law 20-2-1013: No one will be allowed to check out a book while he or she owes a fine or has an overdue library book.

  17. What are the proper ways to care for my library book?

  18. Read with clean hands

  19. Use a book mark

  20. Keep away from babies and dogs!

  21. Don’t get it wet!

  22. Don’t leave it outside.

  23. Return it on time.

  24. If the book is destroyed, and no other children can read it, we will ask you to pay for it. • A paperback is $5.00 • A hardback is $15.00

  25. What happens if we don’t follow the rules? • we will send you back to class with no book.

  26. AR Rules • Never take a test with another student’s name – we will find out! • Keep your book closed during your test! • Don’t let other students watch you take the test! • This is a serious offense!

  27. Our Computers • Never “surf” without supervision. • Stay within our County Media Page unless you are with your teacher.
