  1. BHSOH The Boarding High School for Boarders and Helpless youths.

  2. What is BHSOH? A school on the Thai/Burmese border built in the 1990’s to help educate and house children/orphans who cannot attend school in Burma.

  3. Facts about BHSOH • Has 350 students including 160 orphaned boarders and 21 teachers • 80% of the school is ethnically part of the Karen hill tribe • Has graduated students that have gone to get Master degree’s and study law in places like Hong Kong university.

  4. Problems facing BHSOH? • BHSOH is in need of funding • it receives help from a charity group called “Help Without Frontiers” but they do not have the funds to pay for essentials such as food, medicine and clothes.

  5. How can you help? • By joining the “Fundraising Madness- Let's help Burma!” afterschool activity on Thursday! And donating to our other various fundraising events.
