Lesson 1: Planning the Design You will creatively plan the layout and design of an animated banner by first: • Defining the problem and purpose for creating the banner • Identifying the audience • Solving the problem through research • Sketching the layout, design and animation of the banner with a storyboard and flowchart
Lesson 2: Creating the Banner Use Macromedia Flash and your own design plan to correctly sketch and organize all graphic elements to be used in the website banner, - Use the Flash tools to draw all graphic elements
Lesson 3: Make it Move! Use Macromedia Flash and your own design plan to accurately develop the animation of the website banner to include 10-15 seconds of animation by: - Locate and identify the timeline in the Flash workspace - Explain the difference between a frame and keyframe - Insert a keyframe - Create a motion/shape tween
Lesson 4: Is it Ready to be Published? Use Macromedia Flash to test the website banner for complete functionality and accuracy. - Test the banner for accuracy and revise as needed Use Macromedia Flash to choose the best of 4 options to publish the finished website banner. - Publish the banner and embed in a webpage using Macromedia Dreamweaver.
