"Term contract" means contracts established by the chief procurement officer for specific supplies, services, or information technology for a specified time and for which it is mandatory that all governmental bodies procure their requirements during its term.

Any governmental entity created by an act of the State Legislature
Political Subdivisions
Any governmental entity created by an act of a political subdivision's legislative body (examples: ordinances passed by city or county councils)
School Districts
4. Statewide Term ContractsWho must use them? State Agencies and State Institutions of Higher Learning
Includes Colleges & Universities and Technical Colleges
Exceptions:
Product or service doesn’t meet agency need.
Competitor offers at a price 10% or more below state contract vendor.
5. Statewide Term ContractsHow do you use them? Visit the MMO website and state term contract listings.
Open the contract of interest as a Microsoft Word document, look for the item, contractor, and contract number. Then issue your purchase order referencing the contract number.

7. Vehicles Cab/chassis will not be bid on a mid-year cycle due to lack of anticipated customer orders. They will be bid in the fall with the balance of the vehicle solicitations.

10. Building Inspection and Testing Services • Perform inspection and testing services of state facilities during construction.
• Contract effective November 1, 2009
• Examples of services are building and electrical inspectors, lab tests: concrete and soils testing, pre-stressed concrete and structural welding inspector.

13. Medical Supplies Contract effective February 2010
One contractor (Grove Medical) at this time. The second award remains under protest.
This is a cost plus mark-up contract. There are 94 of the highest volume products used by State agencies listed in a market basket located on MMO’s website. These products are available at a “net” price.
Products not listed in the market basket are available on the contractor’s website at cost plus mark-up.

15. Temporary Personnel Contract effective January 2010
Establishes maximum markup rates of 36% for white collar and 41% for blue collar
Establishes minimum hourly rates for specified positions
Contract now covers the entire state (previous contract was only in certain areas). Contractors are listed on the contract sheets by county.

16. Drug & Alcohol Testing Contract effective late February 2010

18. Mail Service / Pre-sort / Barcode Service for qualified first class mail to include sorting, bar-coding, handling and delivery to the US Postal Service.

20. Future Test & Balancing Service
TAB services are used in conjunction with and are a part of the building commissioning process used to verify building performance of sustainable renovation and new construction. In the past, individual Agencies have contracted for these services, some on a project basis and some on an IDC basis.
