The Golden Triangle The Golden Triangle covers the three most gorgeous cities of the country. Qutab Minar Built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak of the Slave Dynastyin 1206. It is a fluted red sandstone tower, which tapers up to a height of 72.5 meters and is covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an. It consists of 380 steps. There are little openings along its length to admit air and light. It is the first monument built by a Muslim ruler in India, heralded the beginning of a new style of art and architecture that came to be known as the Indo-Islamic style
Lotus Temple • Temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower .Completed in 1986 it is set among the lush green landscaped gardens. • The structure is made up of pure white marble The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. • Around the blooming petals there are nine pools of water, which light up, in natural light. It looks spectacular at dusk when it is flood lit.
Jantar Mantar Jantar Mantar (Yantra - instruments, mantra - formulae) was constructed in 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur . Jai Singh had found the existing astronomical instruments too small to take correct measurements and so he built these larger and more accurate instruments. The instruments at Jantar Mantar are fascinating for their ingenuity
Red Fort The Red sandstone walls of the massive Red Fort (Lal Qila) rise 33-m above the clamour of Old Delhi as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors. Walls were built in 1638, were designed to keep out invaders, now they mainly keep out the noise and confusion of the city. The main gate, Lahore Gate, is one of the emotional and symbolic focal points of the modern Indian nation and attracts a major crowd on each Independence Day.An evening sound and light show re-creates events in India's history connected with the fort.

It is fully ac boulevard spread across 100,000 square feet, with theme restaurants and live kitchens from 14 states of India, represented with their representative architecture and decor. Showshaa Theater is a 350-seater covered amphitheater, complete with a soaring tent. Multiple theatrical performances take place here including productions based on Indian mythology.
SIGHTSEEING IN DELHI (Option # 2) 0700hrs to 1200hrs Qutub Minar - The 72.5 m high-tower dates back to the 13 century and is one of the greatest bequests of Islamic Culture. At its base lies the Quwwatul-Islam Masjid, the first mosque in India. A famous iron pillar, of the 5 century, stands before it, has remained rest free for 1500 years. According to local belief if you can get your fingers to touch with your back to the pillar, your wishes will be granted. Jantar Mantar :- Is an astronomical observatory with masonry instruments, built in 1724 by Jai Singh, the mathematician and astronomer king. The Samrat or yantra supreme instrument, the largest structure shaped like a right-angled triangle, is actually a huge sun –dial the other five instruments are intended to show the movements of the sun, moon etc. Lakshmi Narayan Temple :- Popularly known as Birla mandir is a large Hindu temple built in 1938. People of all faiths can enter and worship but one must walk barefoot into the courtyard and further on. 1200hrs --1400hrs. ( Buffet Lunch as Hotel Lalit the venue hotel which is not included in below costing) 1500hrs – 1800hrs Red Fort :- Delhi’s most magnificent monument, the Red Fort, was built by Emperor Shah Jehan, the builder of the Taj Mahal in 1648. Some of the buildings it encloses are Diwan-I-Am or the hall meant for public audiences; Rang Mahal, the water cooled apartment of the royal ladies; the Pearl Mosque, a lovely, ornate dream in white marble. Raj Ghat Humayun’s Tomb (1529—1857) :- Was built by Humayun’s widowed Queen Haji Begum, in the 16 century. Architecturally the forerunner of the Taj Mahal, it stands in Nizamuddin which has Mughal architecture at its graceful best.
