  2. Inspiration I thought about the main issues which society has to deal with today. Also bearing in mind my age group and other aged teenagers. Then the idea struck me, drugs, because it is a threat to all human beings. Not only, but also it is something which everyone should be aware about for the future. The following presentation will emphasise why illegal drugs aren’t legal. So my question here today is ‘Should illegal drugs be legal.’

Arguments for the issue • Drugs are sometimes used to draw attention (popularity). • It also gives some people pleasure, that is how most drugs are addictive. • Some athletes take drugs so they can do better in their job. • Some drugs are used to relieve stress. • Most young people are naturally curious and want to experiment with different experiences. For some, drugs are a good conversation point, they are interesting to talk about and fascinate everyone. • Also young people take drugs to punish their parents, having in mind that they would treat them more seriously. • Also businesses’ would take off and it would help the British economy to get back on its feet.

  4. Arguments against the issue • They make a dramatic effect on the human body e.g. If someone takes steriods they will feel strong for a while however the next day they will feel dizzy and have the obsession to stay in bed. • Illegal drugs can cause things like hallucinations (seeing strange things), sickness, depression, liver and kidney problems and fits. Some illegal drugs can kill the first time the person takes them. • Taking too much of any drug is called an overdose. A serious overdose of almost any drug can kill you. • Crime rate would be willing to rise making life harder for every one. • Suppose that illegal drugs would be legal the British economy would be in great trouble because they are awfully expensive. • Also if illegal drugs were legal in Great Britain then it will influence other countries to establish that law and the whole world would be a filthy and disgusting place to live in.

  5. Survey I had asked 4 people these 5 questions which were based on drugs: • Should illegal drugs be legal? • Do you know anyone who takes drugs? • Do you think legal drugs should be banned? • Do you think athletes should support drugs? • Do you think drugs are cool?

  7. What I think The whole presentation was based on the question ‘Should illegal drugs be legal?’ I personally think that illegal drugs should stay illegal. The reason being that they are a death threat to all human beings. They kill hundreds each year.

  8. Conclusion Overall the question ‘Should illegal drugs be legal,’ has been answered not only by me, but with several others saying that illegal drugs should not be legal.

  10. Wiki evaluation I think wiki spaces is a good and interactive way of producing an issue. It helps in different ways for example, you can communicate with each other also you can see what other people have produced. So I would recommend wiki spaces to anyone who wants their report to be read and seen from different point of views.
