Advantages VEIT Hand Ironing Technology
VEIT milestones in Hand ironing • VEIT has more than 50 years of experience in hand ironing technology. • VEIT invented the cool & dry ironing technology which resulted in the invention of the first suction table • VEIT invented the blowing technology making it easy to iron e.g. seams or pockets without marks. • VEIT has a wide range of ironing bucks making it easy to choose the right buck for each ironing operation. • VEIT is using long lasting cover materials with a high air permeability to avoid wet surfaces and guarantee a long lifetime, thus reducing running costs.
VEIT milestones in Hand ironing • VEIT ironing tables are using special technology to switch off the air flow on the surface when using the swivelarm, resulting in a strong suction on the swivelarm and dry covers. • VEIT invented the electronic steam iron in 1979. With this iron it is possible to control the temperature of the soleplate very precisely (+-2°C) which is extremely important avoiding damage (like shine) on today’s very delicate garments. • VEIT’s latest electronic steam iron HP2003 is giving a supreme steam quality without condensate due to the elaborate soleplate design.
A good ironing table • What is important on a good ironing table? • Strong and equal suction for dry covers • achieved by using specially designed surfaces with an elaborate arrangement of wholes • achieved by using high quality covers with long lifetime to avoid clogging of the wholes • achieved by special design of air guide with as little resistance as possible to achieve highest possible air flow. • No heating necessary • Saving hundreds and thousands of $ • Possible due to strong suction as steam is sucked away and cannot go into the cover material causing wet covers • Different bucks /surfaces for different operations • For best productivity and quality it is necessary to use bucks and surfaces that are specially developed for this operation.
A good ironing table • What is important on a good ironing table? • Strong suction on the swivelarm to avoid wet covers • Necessity of shutting down the normal ironing surface to get strong suction on swivelarm • Different covers systems for different operations: • For intermediate ironing operations: hard covers • For finishing operations: medium to soft covers • Ergonomic design of table and surroundings • Ergonomically designed tables speed up the ironing process, avoiding unnecessary movements and ways. (Toyota Principle) • Height adjustment for ironing in an ergonomic position according to the size of the operator avoiding early operator fatigue.
A good steam iron • What is important on a good steam iron? • No condensate • Very important as many garments react very sensitive on water drops causing marks the fabric. • very elaborate soleplate design avoiding condensate reliably. • Soleplate temperature independently adjustable from steam temperature • with an electronic iron the soleplate temperature can be adjusted between 120°C and 230°C which is necessary to achieve best ironing results in less time on all fabrics. • All-steam irons can only reach a max. temperature of ca. 150°C • Soft steam exit on the soleplate • Important on delicate fabrics where a hard steam exit causes marks that often cannot be removed any more.
A good steam iron • What is important on a good steam iron? • Precise temperature regulation • Unlike normal thermostat irons (+-15-20°C) an electronic iron has a temperature deviation of max. +-2°C due to electronic regulation. • To avoid damage on the garment like shine which is caused by too high temperatures. • Well designed soleplate • The size of a soleplate should be a good compromise between a big surface to be fast and productive and a small surface to work on difficult areas like around buttons without damaging areas ironed before. • Long lifetime • An electronic iron has no wear and tear parts resulting in a long and trouble free lifetime • On thermostat irons the thermostat has to be exchanged every few weeks/months
VEIT‘s range of ironing tables • All of this knowledge of hand ironing technology went into the development of our ironing tables and irons: • VEIT Varioset • VEIT Uniset Turbo S • VEIT Uniset S+B • VEIT HP 2003 electronic iron
VEIT Varioset VEIT Varioset: - The best ironing table available: • Dry covers due to very strong and most equal suction and blowing performance • Energy efficient: no heating necessary • Complete shutdown of swivelarm when sucking/ blowing on the surface and vice versa • best air flow and noise reduction by High tech air guidance inside made out of special high performance plastic • Suction and blowing power controlled via display • Integrated control on the display for temperature adjustment of iron in connection with HP 2003
VEIT Varioset VEIT Varioset: • Constant ironing results by programmable cycles. E.g. after releasing the steam button on the iron, the Varioset will automatically start sucking for e.g. 3 seconds. • Optimum performance due to self diagnostic system and service interval display (cleaning) avoiding down-time • long lasting performance and lifetime due to elaborate cover system • Ergonomic and non-tiring ironing by easy height adjustment • Infinite variations due to building block system • Individual adaption to ironing operations by lots of accessories and bucks
VEIT Uniset Turbo S VEIT Uniset Turbo S: • Dry covers due to very good suction • Good suction on swivelarm due to complete shutdown of surface when swivelarm is pulled in • improved air flow and noise reduction by elaborate air guidance inside incl. new designed chimney • Very good cover system for long lifetime • Infinite variations due to building block system
