River Ashwini, a small bridge & restaurants on both side of the bridge makes it a perfect weekend destination. It is a great place for people staying at Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali for a one day trip. You can even stay in semi luxury tents and spend a night or two. It is a best destination for Daaru Lovers (All Punjabis Get Covered Under This) as you can take your own booze, get a seat near the river and enjoy your lazy weekend.
