  3. Early Years • Oscar Wild is born • Family moves to Merrion square • Father was a surgeon • Mother was a writer and a literary hostess • Home Schooled • Lonely childhood

  4. Education Years • Home schooled at first • Studied at Portora Royal School in Fermanagh • Enrolled in the Trinity College in Dublin • Then studied in Oxford University. • Involved in the Atheistic movement

  5. Career Years • Writing books and poem • First set of poetry “Poems” • Aestheticism • Taught aesthetic values

  6. Personal Life • He was married to Constance Lloyd • Had two children, Cyril and Vyvyan • Homosexual yet married • Three middle names
