  3. The work about script. • After the last presentation about my graduation film, I spent a lot of time to revise the script. I restart to think about the feasibility of this script. And adjust some part of the story, make it more reasonable.

  4. Talk and discuss with performer • The cross is a short film. And in this film there are only 3 performers, two males and one female. • Base on all the script is in Chinese, and work with Chinese for a film will be easy for me. So I choose all the performers are Chinese students.

  7. Choose the location • There are 3 kinds of location in my film. Home, street, coffee bar. I had found the location about coffee bar and street. About home I still need to think more about that.

  10. The budget • I use this budget form to arrange my budget. The form make me thinking the budget in a systematic way. And in the end the total money is about 90 pounds.

  11. How to use JVC 700 better • I want use Japanese film style to make my graduation film. That ask highly about the image quality. After pass the test of JVC 700. I begin to look some information about how to make digital camera have film feeling.

  13. How to make DV like film. • Depth of Field: use some long-focus • Lighting:handle lighting, lighting levels • Sharpness: turn down the sharpness level on camera setting • Shutter Speed: turn slow the shutter speed • Colour Balance: use white balance to make you film have different hue

  14. Plan B • I also do some work for plan B. It’s animation talking about another story. • I had finished the character design.
