FUND TRANSFER SCHEME (FTS) PROCESS MAP - INDIA Step 4 Step 8 ANZ NZ Student arrives in NZ and visits nearest ANZ branch to activate their accounts & funds allocation (Student must present correct identification & address proof as per bank’s requirement) Step 6 Account will be opened and all details will be sent to the applicant in the welcome letter (Applicant will receive the details within 24–48 business hours) ANZ bank notifies INZ, confirming the applicant’s account balance Step 7 Step 1 Step 3 Step 5 STUDENT Student lodges their visa application with INZ and clearly marks the front of the application form with a bold ‘FTS’; (Applicant also needs to mention this in their covering letter) Applicant provides a copy of AIP letter to ANZ Bank along with completed ANZ enquiry form. (Use new ANZ enquiry form and ONLY email at -movetonz@anz.com) Applicant remits funds to their ANZ account, and contacts ANZ bank to advise of the transfer. Applicant submits required documents as per AIP requirement for issuance of student visa Step 2 INZ INZ branch processes the student’s visa application and if satisfied, notifies the applicant that they have been approved in principle (AIP).
