  4. Impact of Other People • People who are Racist or Prejudice • Disapproval from parents • Date within their race or culture • Friends opinions • Like or don’t like someone

  5. Relationship Conflicts Encountering conflicts Countering conflicts • Most conflicts are within the relationship itself • Different views • Different values • Different traditions • Have faith in the relationship • No assumptions • No expectations • Respect differences • Open communication

  6. Conclusion Interracial and intercultural relationships are rapidly growing in the United States. These relationships are a huge challenge because of many issues and conflicts. Cope with each other’s differences by keeping a respectful open communication
