Bacteria Virus • These are curable. • Take medicines and antibiotics to kill the bacteria. • Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis. • NOT CURABLE. • You can take medicine to feel better but it will not kill all of the virus. You will have it for life. • Treat breakouts. • Genital warts, genital herpes, HIV and Hepatitis B. STd – Virus or bacteria?

One person can infect many by passing the diseases to someone who passes it on to the next person STDs can be spread through unprotected vaginal, oral, and anal sex. People have sex not only with their partners, but also with their partner's past sexual partners. Using latex condoms can prevent STD transmission You can’t tell just by looking at someone who is infected and who isn’t.
