Last year £330,000 Future development includes bursaries;plan is to increase level of support to students on a bigger scale Students, staff & customers from all faith backgrounds

MIC is strongly committed to the ideals of the Fair Trade movement and to a clear environmental policy. As a social enterprise MIC is the embodiment of the now popular corporate social responsibility. Simply, we plough all that we get to supporting home and overseas students, as well as a range of other charities.
Just one example… Provides a lifeline to the villagers by: Running a feeding program for the children. Assisting with school uniforms, clothing and school levies and exam fees. Offering vocational training for adolescents and teenage parents (e.g. tailoring, hairdressing, computer skills) helping them to start a money generating trade. Offering a recreational and creative arts centre for the jobless school leavers. Jambo Sana Project
Just one example… Over 40 children are served lunch every school day, ensuring they have at least one nutritious meal a day and helping to improve their concentration in school.
