MATERIALS AND METHODS • Study Population: 113 women with proven SUI were treated by placement of the MiniArcTM single-incision sling • Study period: January 2008 to June 2011 • Inclusion Criteria: • Severe stress incontinence • Failure to improve with conservative treatment • All patients underwent urodynamic (UDS) evaluation • Retrospective Data • Basic demographic data (voiding diary, cough stress test, age, body mass index, incontinence history, UDS results) • Intra-operative findings (anaesthetic type, operative time, cough stress test)) • Subjective improvement at follow-up RESULTS
CONCLUSION • The MiniArcTM sling proved to be a good surgical option in the management of female SUI. • The results were similar to other studies and complications were comparable.
