Location. 18 Alexandrou Svolou street, Thessaloniki, Greece • Foundation year 1990. The Hispano- Hellenic Cultural Centre F. G. Lorca (Initially Hispano - Hellenic Association of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece) was founded in 1990 in Thessaloniki, set up by 30 Spanish members. • Purpose of the Foundation: The creation of a reference and meeting point among Spanish-speaking people who live in Thessaloniki and the popularization of Spanish and Spanish-speaking culture, as well as the knowledge of the people and customs of Greece and Spain. • Number of members: 350

F.G. Lorca was founded in 1990, and is set up by Spanish, Spanish-american and Greek members, lovers of the Spanish culture and language. • The Centre is basically dedicated to the popularization of the Spanish culture and organizes, among other activities: • Round table discussions. • Conferences with Spanish and Greek writers. • Painting and Photography exhibitions. • Comic exhibitions (Spanish and Greek writers). • Spanish and Spanish-american literature seminars. • Cooking seminars. • Dance seminars (spanish and latin).
Training seminars for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language. • Informative and training conferences for new teachers of Spanish as a foreign Language. • Organizes Spanish and Latin-American kitchen recipes. • Organizes Spanish Festivities, likeFeria de Abril. • Spanish language classes for Spanish-speaking children and Greeks.
Portuguese language classes. • Classical Spanish Guitar recitals and Greek writers. • Recitals with Spanish groups and choirs (Galician, Valencian). • Recitals with Spanish tenors . • Collaborations with various Greek organisms and institutions in order to be able to carry out these activities
Objectives of the Program a) By means of a questionnaire addressed to people aged 65 years and over, be able to study and see how many of them are related to technology and how it helps them in their everyday life. b) Make a research, using a questionnaire addressed to children and adults with vision and hearing problems in order to see how much these people are aided by technology and especially by Internet.
