Apple and Nintendo are at war • Both companies have a range of products, which are quite similar suggesting that they are competitors. • The use of ideas for the iPod Touch and now also the iPadand Nintendo has caused controversy. This is because each company argue the use of an idea is the their own and are suing their competitors. • Both companies said that the other company is their biggest threat for the future.

3. Digital distribution is gathering steam • Steam is a really popular way to download games and DVD’s and to keep them to your hard drive. The good things about this is that you don’t need to carry all you discs as games, DVD’s etc. You always have everything digital as in an steam account. In a steam account you can buy your games online. You pay online and you’ll have everything on your steam account or in a hard drive. Therefor you don’t need to go to a store to buy your games or DVD’s. You can only sit at home, lay back and change DVD’s on your computer without changing the discs. This becomes even more and more popular specially for teenagers specially because they often have a lot of games and they change between games really quickly. They also change between two games when they’re waiting for the other game to load. That’s impossible if you buy the games. With this you can open as much games and movies at the same time as you want. • It cant be easier than that. • An perfect example for steaming from internet is the program called ‘Steam’.
