3. IN ORDER TO: • In order to + verb (için,amacıyla) • For example:I switched on the computer in order to listen to music. • (Müzik dinlemek için bilgisayarı açtım.) • I went to the library in order to study lesson. • (Ders çalışmak için kütüphaneye gittim.)

4. EXAMPLES • My friend came to school today in order to see me. • (Arkadaşım bugün beni görmek için okula geldi.) • My mother went to the shopping in order to cook for dinner. • (Annem akşam yemeği yapmak için alışverişe çıktı .)

5. He went out in order to take some fresh air. • (Biraz temiz hava almak için dışarı çıktı.) • Although she was angry with him very much she didn`say even a word in order not to sorry him. • (Ona çok kızgın olmasına rağmen onu üzmemek için tek kelime bile söylemedi.)

6. She bought an eligent dress in order to go to the birthday party. • (Doğum günü partisine gitmek için şık bir elbise aldı.) • She went to the balcony in order to smoke. • (Sigara içmek için balkona çıktı.)

7. IN ORDER NOT TO: • “In order not to” “in order to” yapısının olumsuzudur.(memek için,mamak için) • For example:She studied very much for the exam in order not to take low grade. • (Düşük not almamak için sınava çok çalıştı.)

8. EXAMPLES • She drank coffee in order not to sleep. • (Uyumamak için kahve içti.) • Though she knows the reason of the argument she remained silent in order not to interfere with their business. • (Tartışmanın sebebini bilmesine rağmen işlerine karışmamak için sessiz kaldı.)

9. My father saved a lot of money in order to go to the holiday. • (Babam tatile gitmek için bir miktar para biriktirdi.) • She went by running in order not to say goodbye to him. • (Ona veda etmemek için koşarak gitti.)

10. IN ORDER THAT: • NOTE: “In order that “ “in order to” yapısıyla aynı anlama gelmektedir.Tek fark “in order to” yapısından sonra “verb”(yüklem) gelirken, “in order that” yapısından sonra “sentence” (cümle) gelir. • IN ORDER TO + VERB • IN ORDER THAT + SENTENCE

EXAMPLES FOR IN ORDER THAT • I finished my all work in order that I could do my homework. • (Ödevimi yapabiliyim diye bütün işlerimi bitirdim.) • I left alone my sister and her friends in order that she could chat with her friends freely. • (Kız kardeşim arkadaşlarıyla rahatça sohbet edebilsin diye onları yalnız bıraktım.)

13. My father bougt me a computer in order that I could do my presentations easily. • (Babam sunularımı kolayca yapabiliyim diye bana bir bilgisayar aldı.) • I switched off the television in order that my sister could study carefully. • (Kardeşim dikkatlice çalışsın diye televizyonu kapattım.)

18. FOR FEAR THAT: • For fear that + sentence (korkusuyla) • NOTE:Bu yapı “in order that” yapısıyla sık sık karıştırılır.Çünkü anlamca birbirine yakın yapılardır. • In order that (-mesi için,-esin diye) • For fear that (-memesi için,korkusuyla)

19. For example: • She went back home in order that she could control ıf she had forgotten anything. • (Bişey unutup unutmadığını kontrol etmek için eve döndü.) • She went back home for fear that she should forget something. • (Bişey unutmuştur korkusuyla eve döndü.)

20. EXAMPLES • They checked the list for fear that they should leave something behind. • (Geride eksik bişey bırakmışlardır diye listeyi tekrar kontrol ettiler.) • She went back home for fear that she should leave the window open. • (Pencereyi açık bırakmıştır diye eve döndü.)
