Gents Omega Seamaster 300, reference #165.024, movement caliber 552, 24 jewels, serial #24,726,402. Manufactured in Switzerland in 1967.
Bright polish surfaces were exposed to humidity. Normal for a divers watch.
The watch movement and case are completely taken apart, cleaned, inspected, damaged and worn parts are replaced, lubricated and adjusted properly.
This movement is identical to the Constellation caliber 551 24 jewel movement.
This caseback has many previous service marks in it. In the old days, case marks were scratched into the metal of the caseback. Today we use indelible ink. The following few pics are of these old case marks.
This was obviously someone’s favorite watch!Although well “loved”, it cleaned up very nicely.
Thank you for your business, I appreciate the opportunity to serve you. This watch should be checked annually for water resistance and again for maintenance service in 2010. Thank you and best regards.Jon W. HortonCertified Master WatchmakerAWI, AWCI, MBHI, NAWCC, SPW
