  2. WHAT IS MOBILE TECHNOLOGY? Mobile technology is a form of technology that is mostly used in cellular communication and other related aspects. It uses a form of platform where by many transmitters have the ability to send data at the same time on a single channel.

  3. CATEGORIES OF MOBILE TECHNOLOGY

  4. LAPTOPS A computer that is portable and suitable for use while travelling.

  5. TABLETS A tablet is a wireless, portable personal computer with a touchscreen interface. Thetablet form factor is typically smaller than a notebook computer, but larger than a smartphone.

  6. SMART PHONES Smartphones are a class of mobile phones and of multi-purpose mobile computing devices. They are distinguished from feature phones by their stronger hardware capabilities and extensive mobile operating systems.

  7. Barcode readers (barcode scanners) are electronic devices for reading printed barcodes. These are optical machine-readable representations of data relating to the object to which they are attached. They define these objects.
