Shri Brijmohan Agrawal went for the examination of the beautification scheme of Mahadev Ghat running along the river near Amleshwar village and visited various construction works.
This famous BJP leader went on his own foot from Mahadev Ghat Bridge to Bhatagaon Anicut and directly witnessed the progress in work.
He instructed the officials to bring more speed in the development work. He said the officials after the beautification of the Mahadev Ghat near the capital city Raipur it is to be made attractive.
Throughout the year during various festivals special programs are conducted at Mahadev Ghat. A large number of people participate in these programs.
Shri Agrawal has made a plan for the development under the bridge giving emphasis on the need to develop both sides of the river from Bhatagaon anicut to Kumhari anicut.
Shri Agrawal gave special instructions for the cleaning arrangements of the river from Bhatagaon anicut to Kumhari anicut. Officials said that the task of making Laxman Jhula at Mahadev Ghat will be completed by 17th March. He gave instructions for creating a plan of action for making a sewage treatment plant on the banks of the river to prevent the dirty water which flows through the sewer of Professor colony of Raipur and meets the river valley thereby making the water dirty. Fot this he called for the provision of funds from the department in the next budget session. He inspected the gardens and parking lots evolving towards Amleshwar. Developments in Mahadev Ghat
The famous BJP leader also instructed to take necessary action to make a garden on the upper portion of the Mahadev Ghat. He said to make a plan for making arrangements to ride floating boats from Mahadev Ghat to Bhatagaon anicut. He ordered to make provisions in the budget of the upcoming fiscal year to make a rest house near Amleshwar at Mahadev Ghat.
