  3. Background • First official resource group at GSFC • Cross-Directorate group of volunteer first line supervisors • Replaces the Supervisor Advocacy Group (SAG) • Operates similar to existing Advisory Committees • OHCM is the Champion and Sponsor

  4. Purpose Collaborate with Center leadership and serve as a critical, strategic partner on issues that impact first line supervisors by: • fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment that is conducive to the needs, development and utilization of each supervisor • leveraging best practices and opportunities for improved organizational functioning • recruiting and retaining first line supervisors to ensure their role is attractive and rewarding

An Opportunity for You • Professionally and personally rewarding • Greater visibility and access to senior leadership • Enhances and utilizes leadership skills • Fosters knowledge transfer and networking • Supports impact and influence of processes and practices • Provides a platform to make recommendations and raise concerns

How to Get Involved • Express your interest - Goddard Opportunities Bulletin Board System (GOBBS) advertisement currently posted • Membership - one-year term • Meetings – the FLSRG will meet at least once a month; subteams may meet more frequently • Voice you ideas – even if you are not able to join, the FLSRG wants to hear your thoughts and suggestions • Watch for events – participate in future FLSRG sponsored activities
