Black Holes By Emily and Jemima
What are they? • A black hole is a region of space having a gravitational field so intense that no matter or radiation can escape. • A gravitational field is the region of space surrounding a body in whichanother body experiences a force of gravitational attraction.
How do they form? • Take the mass of an entire star. Compress it down into an object so compact that the force of gravity defies comprehension. • Nothing, not even light, can escape the pull of gravity from a black hole.
