When should patients use masks? A patient/resident/client with likely or probable influenza H1N1 should wear a mask if leaving their room or when a staff member or other resident is in the same room
When do you use PPE? If you are within 2 meters of a patient with ILI; Your task is considered moderate or high risk (direct contact with a patient with suspected of confirmed H1N1); And if your Point of Care Risk Assessment (PCRA) indicates the need Wear an N95 Respirator, Eye Protection, Gown and Gloves
