Who Am I?. I am a member of the Lemhi Shoshone tribe in what is today Idaho. When I was 12 years old, I was kidnapped in a raid by Hidatsa warriors and taken to live in their village in what is today North Dakota. At age 13 I was sold to a French fur trapper to be his wife.

  2. I am a member of the Lemhi Shoshone tribe in what is today Idaho.

  3. When I was 12 years old, I was kidnapped in a raid by Hidatsa warriors and taken to live in their village in what is today North Dakota.

  4. At age 13 I was sold to a French fur trapper to be his wife.

  5. In 1804 I joined the Lewis and Clark expedition as a guide and interpreter.

  6. I am Sacagawea.
