  18. Single and Two Transformer Systems • Jumper Wire Between RC and RH Single Transformer System • No Jumper Wire on RC and RH Two Transformer System

A few things to look out for in the wiring • RC/RH Jumper Wire • Sensi thermostat has a built in RC/RH jumper, no need to field install a jumper • If you have separate wires to RC and RH terminals (two transformer systems) • Label the wires RC and RH separately and then clip the jumper wire on the back of the Sensi. Built in RC/RH Jumper - Clip for separate RC & RH wires

  21. Other wiring combinations you may see • Heat Pump Exceptions: • Separate Wire on the W2 and the E terminals. Both wires will be labeled W2 and attached to the same terminal • “B” Terminal can be used for more than one thing. Here is the solution to cross. • If there is a wire on the “O” terminal label the wire “C” • If there is no wire on the “O” terminal label the “B” wire “O/B”

Configures in a few simple steps • Select Temperature scale • °F or °C • Select Outdoor System Type • Conventional A/C or Heat Pump • Select Indoor System Type • Gas Furnace or Electric Heat • If it is a Heat Pump select reversing valve position • “O” or “B” Once configured, Sensi operates like a traditional thermostat until the thermostat is connected to the cloud via the smart phone
