  2. Athanasse Zafirov is now pursuing an Accounting PhD at the University of California, Los Angeles school of business, UCLA Anderson. His interests include Macro accounting and Machine Learning.

  3. In his chosen field of economics, Athanasse or Athan Zafirov synthesizes financial data for Global Trade Services in Montreal, updating and reporting findings on emerging markets. Athanasse Zafirov also analyzes the economies of Canada and other nations.

  4. In earlier employment, Zafirov coordinated information on fixed income for Letko-Brosseau & Associates in Montreal, also modelling global gas and oil trends. As an analyst intern at CDP in Quebec, he made econometric estimations for its economics and asset allocation department. Zafirov’s college career included an MA in economics from HEC Montreal and a B. Comm in finance. At the University of Quebec at Montreal, he presented a paper on wealth distribution between generations. Additionally, he was a stock simulations organizer and capital markets analyst for the Maison de l’Innovation Sociale in Quebec, which he also served as VP internal.
