A medium angle • Describing not analysing • Key spellings – audience, scene, sequence, diegetic • Inverted commas and capital letters • End on a comment re audience and you chosen micro element • Length of essay – too long, too short, add to the bottom

Assessment of the micro essay Students will be assessed on how well they: • 1. show knowledge and understanding of film form • 2. analyse the ways in which micro elements can generate meaning and engage the audience • 3. can articulate an informed personal response to their chosen sequence.
