  2. Our Vision and Mission Family caregiving is an isolated and under-appreciated endeavor that is not well understood. As such, current systems intended to support family caregivers cannot scale to help meet their needs, and in turn, affect those who are requiring care. New reports on the scope of this growing issue — and new products, programs, and services to engage caregivers — are being released every day. But without deep, contextual knowledge about the day-to-day experience of family caregivers, it will be difficult to address the critical challenges that lie just ahead. We envision a world where caregiving is valued and supported as fundamental to a healthy society. We have made it our mission to catalyze a transformative change for family caregiving through innovative research, practical solutions, and rich collaboration. By integrating advanced design techniques and modern technologies in all our work, we create an innovative, engaging approach with a human, empathetic touch.
