2. Cretaceous TSC NorLex Biostratigraphic Zonation (proposal) • Digital TSC based zonation. • Regionally applicable. • One zone per stage i.e. Maastrichtian = MK1, Campanian = MK2 etc with subdivisions 1.1, 1.2 etc. • Late Cretaceous: planktonic foraminifera & dinoflagellate cyst based.
