  2. Why? Following these instructions will help your company save money, while being environmentally friendly. Let me give you a few tips to better your business

  3. The Problem Many businesses waste products and waste money, without even realizing that there is a way to run a company more effectively.

  4. Statistics Recycling 1 million laptops saves the energy equivalent to the electricity  used by 3,657 U.S. homes in a year. 80 to 85 percent of electronic products were discarded in landfills or incinerators, which can release certain toxics into the air.

  5. Financial • Encourage emailing instead of sending a letter in the mail • Turn off all lights and computers at the end of the day • Take advantage of natural light through windows instead of keeping lights on all day • Recycle paper • Try not to use as much water while washing your hands

  6. Environmental • Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle • Try to buy organic or re-used products • Don’t throw away things that can benefit others such as equipment
